The Rev. John Stephen Raffeiner, V.F. was the first and founding pastor.  He served from 1841 until he died in 1861.

The Right Rev. Msgr. Michael May, V.F. was the second pastor.  He served from 1861 until he died in 1895.

The Right Rev. Msgr. Peter Dauffenbach was the third pastor.  He served from 1895 until he died in 1908.

The Rev. Frederick M. Schneider was the fourth pastor.  He served from 1908 until he died at the age of 55 in 1919.  An interesting note is that Fr. Schneider died suddenly while on a trip to Curacao--where he is buried in the priests' plot in the cemetery at Otrobanda, Curacao.
